Money sticks to ones hand and  produces a disease called materialism. It is secretive. John 12:6 John 13: 21,22 Mat 26:22 John 13:26 If materialism is in you, you also might  not know about it prevailing in you. Materialism rationalizes. John 12:5 Mark 14:4 If materialism is in you, it might be attached to some things appearing good and wise. Materialism defiles. John 13:10,11 Money can defile you. Materialism enslaves. Luke 22:3 John 13:27 There is never a time when you want no more. You become an addict. Materialism twists values. Christ was betrayed for 30 pcs of silver= 120 days of wages. Perfume used to clean his feet was worth 1 year wages. Where do your values lie? Person who tithes 10 % considers himself as generous. If we do not encourage Christians to be generous with money,  we will be living a life like Judas. Judas admitted his crime and restored the money but did not see the Cross ,which was the important thing. Mat 27:4 Judas never came to believe and accept forgiveness. What stage are you in today? 1 timothy 6:17,18,19 Surrender your money to Christ, so that it does not touch your hand.
