The Acts ‘Fairy Tale’ - David John

ABS Week 13 Acts 28 Acts ends like a fairy tale. Instead of 'they lived happily ever after', it's 'Paul preached happily ever after'. As I look through the book of Acts, one thing that strikes me is Paul's zeal for the gospel. The way he just had to share it. I think sometimes we take the gospel for granted, maybe because we just 'know' it for so long. But if we really understood it we would be like Paul, taking every opportunity to share it because it's people's souls at stake. If we really got the idea of spending eternity in hell we would do everything in our power to make sure that the people we love don't end up there. My prayer after ABS is that we wouldn't get all pumped up and excited for the gospel after the Sunday sermon, but be excited about it every single day. That our zeal for it would be like Paul's. And that we would do whatever it takes to convince people of it. No matter the cost.
