Man was created to have communion with God (That was how it was in the garden of Eden. The Hebrew meaning of Eden is pleasure/delight.) The essence of a Christian life is to dwell in the presence of God. Hebrew meaning of presence: To feel , hear and see someone. Why is God calling us to dwell in his presence? Psalms 16:11 - You will show me the path that leads to life; Your presence fills me with joy and brings me pleasure for ever. God is omnipresent but we are not in his presence. Why can't we be in God's presence? Sin has separated us. David dwelt in the presence of the Lord before sinning.-Psalms 27:4 The question we have to ask ourselves is: do we have to the lifestyle of dwelling in God's presence/ listening to God?Keep reading
